2011

November 14, 2011, Atlanta, GA – Southeastrans has contracted with Health Services for Children with Special Needs (HSCSN) in Washington, DC to manage their non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) services. HSCSN is a dedicated Washington, DC Medicaid health plan that coordinates physical, mental, behavioral, and developmental care and services for special needs children and young adults up to age 25. The contract, which began November 1, 2011, will serve approximately 5,000 HSCSN members.

November 9, 2011 Atlanta, GA –  On November 9, 2011, Southeastrans was recognized in the BEST IN IT MANAGEMENT OF MOBILE DEVICES category of the 2011 Mobilizer awards. The Mobilizer Awards honor public and private enterprises across all industries including government  that have transformed their businesses by deploying mobile and wireless solutions.

July 12,2011 Atlanta, GA – Atlanta-based transportation management company Southeastrans has launched an industry-first solution, the Net InSightTM Mobile App. The user-friendly solution promotes transparency and accountability via a real-time data collection process that establishes best practices throughout the Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Program, all while helping transportation providers to reduce paper waste.

2010

October 5, 2010, Atlanta, GA – Southeastrans announced today that it is applying for Core Accreditation from URAC, a Washington, DC based health care accrediting organization that establishes quality standards for the health care industry. Accreditation is a process by which an impartial organization (URAC) will review a company's operations to ensure that the company is conducting business in a manner consistent with national standards.

April 23, 2010, Atlanta, GA – For the second consecutive year, Southeastrans, Inc. received a Pacesetter award from the Atlanta Business Chronicle as one of the fastest growing companies in the Atlanta area.

2009

November 2, 2009, Atlanta, GA – Southeastrans is pleased to announce that Robin Rhodes has joined our executive team as Vice-President of Human Resources.

October 26, 2009, Atlanta, GA – Southeastrans is pleased to announce that Lisa A. Leach has joined our executive team as Vice-President of Operations.

April 24, 2009, Atlanta, GA – Southeastrans, Inc. was recognized by the Atlanta Business Chronicle as one of the fastest growing companies in Atlanta during their 2009 Pacesetter Awards ceremony at the Cobb Galleria.

April 2, 2009, Atlanta, GA – Robert “Bob” Newman joins Southeastrans executive team as Vice-President of Quality Operations.

March 10, 2009, Atlanta, GA – Southeastrans has contracted with AdvoCare of Tennessee, a division of Magellan Health Services, to manage non-emergency transportation for TennCare Members enrolled with the company’s behavioral health plans.

January 26, 2009 – Jim Degliumberto has joined Southeastrans executive staff as Chief Information Officer.

2008

June 6, 2008, Atlanta, GA – Southeastrans has contracted with Volunteer State Health Plan, a wholly-owned subsidiary of BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, to manage Medicaid non-emergency transportation (NET) for TennCare members enrolled through the managed care company’s BlueCare® and TennCareSelect programs.

April 25, 2008, Atlanta, GA - Southeastrans, Inc. has been recognized for the second consecutive year as one of the fastest growing companies in the U.S. in the May 2008 issue of Entrepreneur Magazine.

August 25, 2008, Atlanta, GA – Gary Kinard joins Southeastrans as Vice-President of Finance. Kinard’s prior experience covers 25 years in the healthcare industry where he started as an emergency medical technician providing 911 responses in the metro Atlanta area.

2007

August 1, 2007, Atlanta, GA – Southeastrans, Inc. has been recognized as one of the fastest growing companies in the U.S. in the August 2007 issue of Entrepreneur Magazine.

January 2, 2007, Atlanta, GA – Southeastrans has been awarded contracts to manage Medicaid non-emergency transportation (NET) in three of Georgia’s five Medicaid NET regions, the maximum number of regions allowed for a single vendor.
