Southeastrans Contracts with Health Services for Children with Special Needs (HSCSN) to Manage Non-Emergency Medical Transportation
November 14, 2011, Atlanta, GA – Southeastrans has contracted with Health Services for Children with Special Needs (HSCSN) in Washington, DC to manage their non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) services. HSCSN is a dedicated Washington, DC Medicaid health plan that coordinates physical, mental, behavioral, and developmental care and services for special needs children and young adults up to age 25. The contract, which began November 1, 2011, will serve approximately 5,000 HSCSN members. Southeastrans will manage the HSCSN NEMT Program using its new NET InSight trip management software including mobile automated trip tracking and verification technology. All NEMT Providers in the DC Provider network will utilize iPad devices with Southeastrans proprietary mobile technology to provide real-time tracking and validation of all assigned pick-up and drop-offs. read more >>
