Southeastrans, Inc. recognized as one of America's fastest
growing businesses

August 1, 2007, Atlanta, GA – Southeastrans, Inc. has been recognized as one of the fastest growing companies in the U.S. in the August 2007 issue of Entrepreneur Magazine. The magazine surveyed data from 19 million businesses to find the top 500 companies in America with the fastest growth between 2002 and 2006. Only companies founded between 1998 and 2002 with revenues exceeding $100,000 annually were considered in the final ranking. During the period surveyed, Southeastrans’ annual revenues increased from $7.5 million to $18.9 million, a 152% increase over the four year term. This level of growth placed Southeastrans 367th on the list of the nation’s top 500 fastest growing companies.

Steve R. Adams, Southeastrans’ founder and president characterized his secret to success as “a strong work ethic, the ability to think outside the box, belief in yourself and the ability to persevere when other say, “that won’t work.”” Southeastrans has managed Medicaid non-emergency medical transportation programs in Georgia since the company was founded in 2000. In 2005, the company contracted with the state to manage the 44-county region in North Georgia, more than doubling the Atlanta-based operations. Since that time, Southeastrans has acquired three additional transportation management contracts more than doubling the company’s size again.
