December 1, 2015, Atlanta, Georgia – Southeastrans has contracted with Amerigroup Louisiana, Inc. for management of non-emergency medical transportation services for members enrolled in Amerigroup Community Care health plans. Amerigroup Community Care is an authorized Healthy Louisiana Medicaid managed-care health plan. This statewide contract will begin serving approximately 170,000 members enrolled with Amerigroup throughout the State of Louisiana effective December 1, 2015. Southeastrans will provide call center services, provider network administration, quality management, and claims administration for the health plan’s non-emergency medical transportation benefit.
